Google Ads management in Dubai, measured in enquiries, not clicks
Good Google Ads management in Dubai starts with what counts as a result. Our Lead Engine runs search campaigns that send people to their own English or Arabic landing page, counts a form enquiry only once your server has stored it, measures calls and WhatsApp taps separately, cleans the search terms every week and reports each month in enquiries, not clicks. The account and the budget stay in your company's name.
How an enquiry is counted
- Search Someone searches in English or Arabic
- Ad click Google adds a click ID to the visit
- Landing page One offer, one language, one next step
- Enquiry stored Form saved with the click ID; calls and WhatsApp taps measured separately
- Conversion sent Only after the server accepted it, once
- Monthly report Enquiries per campaign and keyword, not clicks
What our Google Ads management in Dubai includes
Budgets usually leak in three places: how a lead is counted, who owns the account and which search terms nobody wanted. That is where the Lead Engine is specific.
- Search campaigns first. We start where people type what they need, for example a service plus an area of Dubai. Display, video and Performance Max come later, if at all.
- A landing page per offer and language. One page in English, one in Arabic where you target Arabic searches, each with a single next step: form, call or WhatsApp. No ad sends people to a homepage or an About page.
- Enquiries measured on the server. The click ID Google adds to an ad visit (gclid) is stored with each form enquiry on the server, where the browser passes it on. A conversion is reported to Google only after the server has accepted the form, with a unique ID so a reload is not counted twice. Calls and WhatsApp taps are recorded as separate actions, so you can see which channel brought what.
- Weekly search term review. We read what people typed, add irrelevant terms as negative keywords and move good terms into their own ad groups.
- Monthly report in enquiries. Enquiries per campaign and keyword, and how many became qualified or won where your CRM shows that. Clicks and impressions go in the appendix.
- Your account, your budget. The Google Ads account belongs to your company and Google bills your ad spend to you directly. We work with access you grant and that you can remove at any time.
What it is based on
Schroer Digital is founder-led, built and operated with our German sister company Schröer Digital UG. The UG runs Google Ads and SEO in Germany in production, for clients such as a dental patient referral service and local service businesses, and for its own point-of-sale brands. It sets up the conversion measurement, builds the landing pages, stores enquiries with their source on its own server, feeds those from its own sites into its own CRM and reads Search Console data through its own ERP.
Measuring properly changes decisions. In those projects, counting people instead of form rows removed bots and duplicates from the figures. Following ad enquiries through to the outcome showed that some converted far less often than enquiries from other sources, and that enquiries arriving at night or at the weekend waited until the next working day for a first reply. We do not have clients in the UAE yet. The Lead Engine is the same method, adapted to English and Arabic search and the way people contact businesses here.
When Google Ads pays off in the UAE, and when it does not
Google Ads works when people search for what you sell and someone answers fast. It does not create demand.
- Usually worth testing: services people search for with clear intent and a location, such as repairs, clinics, company setup or B2B supplies; a defined service area; someone who replies within minutes in working hours; and a rough idea of what a new customer is worth to you.
- Usually not, or not yet: a new product category nobody searches for; an offer that depends on impulse and pictures, where social ads often fit better; no one to take calls or reply to WhatsApp; a regulated service without the permit to advertise it; or the expectation of a reliable verdict in week one.
- If the answer is "not yet", we say so. Often the better first step is a page that ranks for the same questions, see AI SEO and GEO in Dubai and our SEO playbook for Dubai.
Four mistakes that cost Google Ads budget
- Broad match without negatives. Broad match is the default and reaches related searches. Google itself says it is critical to use Smart Bidding with broad match, and Smart Bidding needs real conversions to learn from. Without negative keywords and a weekly look at the search terms report, a "plumber Dubai" ad can end up paying for job seekers or do-it-yourself searches.
- A page view counted as a conversion. If a visit to a thank-you page, or worse any page, counts as a lead, Smart Bidding optimises for visits. A conversion should fire only after the enquiry is stored, and each one only once.
- No landing page. Ads that point to the homepage make the visitor search again. We have seen sitelinks to an About page take a noticeable share of ad clicks without a single contact.
- No Arabic campaign. English reaches a large part of the UAE, but not every customer. An Arabic campaign needs its own keywords, its own ads and an Arabic landing page; machine-translating the English ads is not enough.
What is different about Google Ads in Dubai and the UAE
- Two languages. We keep English and Arabic in separate campaigns so budgets and results stay readable. We draft the Arabic ads and page but do not offer native-speaker proofreading; an Arabic speaker on your side signs them off. See the Arabic website requirement in the UAE.
- Mobile and WhatsApp. Many searches for local services happen on a phone, and some people would rather send a WhatsApp message than fill in a form. We put a WhatsApp button on every landing page and measure the tap. Whether the chat became an enquiry shows in the CRM, ideally through an assistant that records the source, see our WhatsApp AI chatbot.
- Location setting. By default Google shows ads to people in or regularly in your area and to people who show interest in it. For a local clinic or repair service that can mean paid clicks from people outside your area, so we usually switch to "Presence". For property sold to overseas buyers, interest can be the point.
- Working week and ad schedule. Since January 2022 the UAE federal government has worked Monday to Thursday plus a half day on Friday, with Saturday and Sunday off. Private companies set their own hours. Ad schedules and reply times should follow your real hours.
- Regulated sectors. In Dubai, the Dubai Land Department issues real estate advertising permits through its Trakheesi system, and its permit service explicitly covers electronic ads. For healthcare, the Dubai Health Authority's Standards for Medical Advertisement Content on Social Media, whose introduction lists Google among the platforms, say a facility's official account must state its medical advertisement licence number from the Ministry of Health and Prevention, and advertising content that names the facility must be approved by its Medical Director. Google's policies add restrictions for some health and financial products. This is our reading of public sources, not legal advice; without the permits, we do not launch ads in these sectors.
Where AI helps, and where it does not
AI is part of the daily work. Bids are set by Google's Smart Bidding once enough real enquiries are measured; we do not claim a secret algorithm on top.
- Search term analysis: a language model groups search terms by intent and flags likely negatives, in English and Arabic. A person decides what gets excluded.
- Ad copy drafts: AI writes variants from your approved facts. A person checks every line for claims, prices and permits before anything goes live.
- Reporting: enquiries are matched to campaigns and keywords from the stored source data; AI drafts the monthly summary from those figures. The figures come from the data, not from the model.
What you need to start
- A Google Ads account in your company's name, or permission for us to create one for you, with your own payment method.
- A clear offer per campaign, your service area and your opening hours.
- Someone who answers calls and WhatsApp messages quickly during those hours.
- Access to your website, or agreement that we build the landing pages, and a privacy notice that covers ad measurement.
- Any permit your sector needs to advertise, before the first ad runs.
- For how a fast, measured site matters for ads too, see hosting a website for the UAE. For the wider automation behind enquiries, see AI automation in Dubai.
How it works
Step by step
Check demand and fit
We look at what people search for in your field, in English and Arabic, at any existing account, and at whether you can answer fast. If ads are not the right first step, we say so.
Set up measurement
Conversion actions for form, call and WhatsApp, the click ID stored with each form enquiry, duplicate protection, and a test enquiry checked end to end before any budget is spent.
Build landing pages
One page per offer and language, fast on a phone, with one clear next step. Arabic content is reviewed by an Arabic speaker on your side.
Launch search campaigns
Tightly grouped keywords, negative keyword lists from day one, location and schedule matched to your business, ads you have approved.
Weekly care
Search terms reviewed, negatives added, ads and pages adjusted, broken measurement caught early. Changes are dated so their effect can be read later.
Monthly report
Enquiries per campaign, keyword and channel, what they became where your CRM shows it, and what we change next month.
Limits
What we don't do
- No guaranteed number of leads, sales or a fixed cost per lead.
- No ads in regulated sectors without the permits your sector requires.
- No running ads from an account we own; the account stays yours.
- No Arabic proofreading; your side signs off Arabic text.
- No counting page views or clicks as leads in our reports.
- No promises of a top ad position at any price.
FAQ
Questions, answered briefly
What does Google Ads management in Dubai include?
In the Lead Engine: search campaigns, an English or Arabic landing page per offer, form enquiries counted on the server, calls and WhatsApp taps as separate actions, a weekly search term review and a monthly report in enquiries.
Who owns the Google Ads account?
You do. The account is in your company's name, Google bills the ad spend to you, and you can remove our access at any time.
How do you measure WhatsApp enquiries from Google Ads?
The tap on the WhatsApp button is measured as its own action. Whether the chat became a real enquiry is recorded in your CRM, ideally by a WhatsApp assistant that stores the source with the conversation.
Do I need an Arabic campaign?
If part of your customers search in Arabic, yes, with its own keywords, ads and landing page. We draft the Arabic content; an Arabic speaker on your side reviews it.
Can you guarantee results?
No. What we do is count only enquiries that really arrived and show you what each campaign brought. The number depends on demand, your offer and how fast you reply.
Do you have Google Ads clients in the UAE?
Not yet. The method runs in production for German clients of our sister company Schröer Digital UG, and we apply it to English and Arabic search in the UAE.
